Matthew Phillips

Matthew is a Field Survey Technician working out of Wightman’s Benton Harbor office. Focusing primarily on the company’s work within the Utility sector, he assists survey crew chiefs in completing a variety of surveying projects. Prior to joining Wightman, he worked as a design technician and surveyor for a regional energy production company and for an architectural design studio. Matthew earned a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University and holds a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Certification. In his role with the survey team, he takes great satisfaction working with others to complete the job at hand and helping to meet client needs and expectations. Outside of work he enjoys traveling and seeing new places.
