Senior Construction Field Service Technician
Inspectors are on the front lines of road, bridge, sanitary sewer, and watermain projects. With more than 30 years of field experience, David has been representing Wightman on projects throughout Southwestern Michigan since 1993. As a senior field technician, he interacts with clients, contractors, homeowners, and the motoring public while ensuring that projects are built to specifications and that appropriate material quantities are being used to keep the project within budget. He was the lead inspector on the largest sanitary sewer project (Porter Township) and largest watermain project (Diamond Lake) in Wightman’s history.

Personal Note
While working on the Porter Township sanitary sewer project, David had to call the police five times to keep people from blocking construction equipment access. He has been bitten by dogs three times during his career at Wightman…so far.
