Matt VanderHulst

As an engineering drafter at Wightman, one of the most rewarding parts of Matt’s job is to see an entire project when it is complete and be able to tell his kids that their dad was part of it. Matt joined the Allegan engineering team in 2019 and provides drafting and design support across various projects, with an emphasis on water and wastewater treatment plant design. He is well-rounded in the construction industry, with seven years of experience in the residential and commercial setting as a tradesman and general contractor, and eight years of background in the industrial setting performing drafting and design work as well as installation. In addition to his skills in engineering drafting, he is also experienced as an architectural drafter and in mechanical design.
