Micah Kunze

As a survey crew chief, Micah has the unique responsibilities of providing accurate and detailed surveys to clients, mentoring field crew technicians, and representing Wightman - both in person and over the phone. One of his greatest strengths is his ability to remain exceptionally organized. Those organizational skills have led to increased responsibility within the firm; he singlehandedly maintains the location of, calibration schedules for, and details of all surveying equipment at the Allegan office location. Micah is versatile and takes pride in doing the best job no matter the task with which he is presented.

Personal Note
Talk about cool! Micah has:
- nurtured a White Pine Seedling he found in his yard until it was about 24 inches and then planted it at his in-laws' house,
- collected Town and Range and Township maps for the county he lived in and then attempted to draw his own ortho map of the section he lived in, even though he had know idea what he was doing (his words!),
- helped paint two murals with his wife in downtown Grand Rapids,
- now gets to draw maps and gather data for our Clients and he loves it!
