Little Miami Schools Site Location Analysis-Maineville, Ohio

As a part of their Master Facility Plan, the Little Miami School District, in Maineville, Ohio, hired Wightman to complete a physical assessment of all of their facilities.  Included in this report was a demographic review and analysis aimed at identifying potential locations of future development within the school district. 

Wightman’s GIS team analyzed several datasets including population growth projections, zoning, soil types, FEMA floodplains, properties with favorable elevation/slope for development, etc.  The goal was to identify developable properties within the school district to be used for future school facility planning.  The GIS team was able to present specific mapped locations to the Little Miami School District that met the criteria established by the committee which aided the team's planning efforts.
