Starting a new career can seem daunting, especially for employees who are in the first years of their careers. West Michigan is full of young professionals and businesses eager to hire them.

One of those young professionals is Jeff Clay. And one of those businesses is Wightman in Kalamazoo, where Clay works as a survey project manager. Clay knows a lot about changes, personally and professionally. He is originally from Fresno, California, and this year he became a father. Adjusting to transition is nothing new for Clay, but he said knowing that his employer embraces change and encourages its employees to keep learning makes personal development easier to attain.
