Wightman Hires Cardwell as Director of Marketing

Wightman, an employee-owned consulting firm offering architecture, civil engineering, and surveying services, is pleased to announce the hiring of Nicollette Cardwell as Director of Marketing.

Cardwell resides in the City of Detroit and works primarily from Wightman’s Royal Oak office. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Media Studies from San Diego State University in 2013. Prior to joining Wightman, she worked as the Client Relations & Business Development Manager and as an Associate for the firm for TMP Architecture.

She is a member of the Society of Marketing Professional Services, Southeast Michigan Chapter. For the past two years, Cardwell served as Membership Chairperson and will serve on the 2022-23 Board of Directors as Membership Director.

With eight years’ experience in marketing and business development for the architectural, engineering, and construction industry, Cardwell’s extensive skillset will add value to the clients the firm serves throughout the Great Lakes region.

“We are excited that Nicollette has joined our team,” said Matt Davis, Wightman President. “In addition to her impressive business development and marketing experience in the Architecture/Engineering industry, Nicollette cares about the things our clients care about. Her passion for business development means she understands what our clients need and how we can best support them.

“As our firm continues to grow, Nicollette will also lead our efforts to find new clients who desire a trusted advisor to design and build their projects on time and under budget,” he said.

Cardwell said she is also excited to join the Wightman team.

“I am excited for the opportunity to reinforce Wightman’s brand by cultivating deeper relationships with prospective and existing clients and building a team of leaders to develop strategies for company growth, enhanced client relations, and brand communications,” Cardwell said. “I am passionate about the AEC industry and the opportunity to use my skillset to make a positive contribution to the firm and to the communities it serves.”
